The innovative EMS applicator we offer strengthens the pelvic floor through electromagnetic stimulation, targeting the treatment of urinary incontinence as well as other disorders related to the pelvic floor muscle structures (sexual dysfunction).
Urinary incontinence is a very common problem that negatively impacts patients’ quality of life. It is most often caused by anatomy, heredity, pregnancy, childbirth, and obesity. It also occurs, to a lesser extent, in men.
The pelvic floor includes ten muscles that directly support the bladder and both male and female reproductive organs. Stronger pelvic floor muscles also mean increased blood flow, resulting in improved bladder control and enhanced sexual sensation. For those suffering from poor sexual function and/or incontinence, the solution is the same. Kegel exercises strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which in turn strengthen the bladder muscles and the ability to retain urine. In women, these exercises also tighten the muscles supporting the vaginal canal, while in men, they tighten the muscles required for erectile function and ejaculation control.
Since EMS provides the equivalent of 12,000 Kegel contractions in one 30-minute session, it is the ideal non-invasive, non-surgical treatment method for incontinence and sexual dysfunction in both women and men.
Usually, 24 sessions are recommended. Results are noticeable within the first 2-4 weeks. Maintenance sessions are advised every 2-3 months.
The EMS applicator creates pulsed electromagnetic fields that penetrate deeply into the pelvic floor muscles, causing stimulation and restoring weak pelvic muscles in both women and men, significantly reducing urinary incontinence. Additionally, a strengthened pelvic floor can even improve your sexual life. The treatment is performed with patients fully clothed.
